Crocodylus Park is the best place in Australia to come face to face with the largest reptiles on the planet! Built upon 30 years of experience in crocodile research and conservation, Crocodylus Park plays host to over a thousand crocodiles from 30 cm long hatchlings to massive adults measuring over 4.8 m and weighing more than half a ton.

The George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens are botanical gardens located 2 km North of the CBD of Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. The gardens cover 42 hectares and are noted for their collections of north Australian and other tropical species.

Bicentennial Park is a large area of parkland located in the Darwin city centre, Darwin, Northern Territory. It runs the length of Darwin’s waterfront which looks over Darwin Harbour.

Charles Darwin National Park is in the Northern Territory of Australia, 4 km southeast of Darwin. It is notable for its World War II–era concrete bunkers, one of which has been converted into a visitors centre and display of World War II memorabilia. It also has lookouts towards the city of Darwin. It contains middens used by the Larrakia people.

Holmes Jungle Nature Park is a small, relatively isolated area of monsoon forest at the edge of Darwin’s northern suburbs. It provided a habitat for a large variety of native birds, mammals and reptiles which are able to breed and find refuge in the thick vegetation. The area of the park is approximately 250 hectares and Pine Creek winds its way through the park to its centre.

Howard Springs is a 283ha nature park located 35km south of Darwin, Northern Territory. A suitable habitat for waterfowl of the Northern Territory, it also has swimming areas and walking trails.

Berry Springs is one of the most beautiful parks to cool off and relax in close to Darwin. It has great shaded picnic and barbeque areas close to clear swimming pools surrounded by trees and aquatic life. Native flowers in the park bloom from March to April. Walkers and bird watchers should take the monsoon forest and woodlands walk.
